PHILOSOPHY
Soaring Eagles operates with the belief that despite life challenges, mental illness & setbacks individuals can still soar to immeasurable heights. We have a “Your diagnosis does not dictate your destiny” attitude…No limits! You can Soar like an Eagle! Our services provide person centered support, comprehensive assessments and individual service plans with specific goals to empower individuals to overcome barriers, stabilize their mental illness, mobilize the resources of the community support systems, family members and others for ongoing maintenance, rehabilitation, and recovery.

GOALS
- To enable restoration of an individual to the highest level of baseline functioning and achieve and maintain community stability and independence in the most appropriate, least restrictive environment.
- Effectively provide goal directed training in the following areas: (i) functional skills and appropriate behavior related to the individual’s health and safety; instrumental activities of daily living, and use of community resources; (ii) assistance with medication management; and (iii) monitoring health, nutrition, and physical condition with goals towards self-monitoring and self-regulation of all of these activities.
- To improve family functioning, and significant functional impairments in major life activities that have occurred due to the youth’s mental, behavioral or emotional illness in order to prevent an out of home placement, stabilize the youth, and gradually transition the youth to less restrictive levels of care and supports.
- Specifically improve family dynamics, provide modeling, and include clinically necessary interventions that increase functional and therapeutic interpersonal relations between family members in the home.
- To promote benefits of psychoeducation in the home setting of a youth who is at risk of being moved into an out-of-home placement or who is being transitioned to home from an out-of-home placement due to a documented medical need of the youth.
- Serve as diversion or stepdown from inpatient hospitalization.
- Provide quality supports to individuals experiencing abrupt and substantial changes in behavior noted by severe impairment or acute decompensation in functioning.

Soaring Eagles offers a person-centered programs that combines skill-based interventions with maximum flexibility so that services are available to individual and families according to their unique physical and emotional needs.
Intensive In-Home Services
IIHS provide family preservation
interventions for children and adolescents who have or at risk of serious emotional disturbance. Services includes 24-hour emergency response; crisis treatment; individual and family counseling; life; parenting; communication skills; and case management and coordination with other services.
Mental Health Skill Building Services
MHSB services provide goal directed training and supports to enable restoration of an individual to the highest level of baseline functioning and achieve and maintain community stability and
independence in the most appropriate, least restrictive environment.
Crisis Stabilization
CS services provide intensive short term mental health care to non-hospitalized individuals (all ages) experiencing an acute crisis of a psychiatric nature. The goal is to address and stabilize the acute mental health needs at the earliest possible time with ongoing services, avert hospitalization or re-hospitalization, provide a high assurance of safety and security in the least restrictive environment, and mobilize the resources of the community support system, family members, and others for ongoing maintenance, rehabilitation, and recovery.
Residential Crisis Stabilization Unit (RCSU)
RCSUs provide short-term, 24/7, residential psychiatric/substance related crisis evaluation and brief intervention services. Residential Crisis Stabilization Units (RCSUs) serve as diversion or stepdown from inpatient hospitalization. The service supports individuals experiencing abrupt and substantial changes in behavior noted by severe impairment or acute decompensation in functioning.
